'95 Porsche 911

1995 Porsche 911 Cabriolet | Manual | 175,000 Miles

In model year 1994, the 964 model line was replaced by the 993 model line. This was a significant advance, not just from a technical, but also a visual perspective. The front wings of the 993 Carrera were wider and flatter. Because of the shorter luggage compartment lid, the black rubber lip forming the seam between the body and the front bumper on the G model and the 964 was omitted. The rear wings were also widened and ran in a straighter line towards the rear with the higher-positioned tail lights. The 993 was initially available as a Coupé and Cabriolet with rear-wheel drive. For model year 1995, there followed the all-wheel Carrera 4 and 911 Turbo versions with viscous multi-plate clutch and in model years 1996/97, the Carrera 4S and the Carrera S.

This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet shows 175k miles on the cluster, and it was acquired by the current and third owner in February of 2020. It is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and it is finished in black over black leather and houndstooth interior. Equipment includes a new black soft top, a black boot cover, 18” original RUF wheels, a speed-activated rear spoiler, heated power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, air conditioning, and new continental head unit linked to the original speakers with functioning bluetooth. This 993 Carrera cabriolet is now offered on behalf of the owner by Heritage Gruppe with a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.

The car is finished in black and features a power-retractable new black soft top and new headliner, new rear window, new micro switches and motors, as well as a black boot cover. Additional equipment includes headlight washers, fog lights, factory sport rocker panels, factory short shifter, child seat detection, power-adjustable mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a “basket handle” fixed rear spoiler, and a dual tip Fabspeed exhaust. Clear paint-protection film is present ahead of the rear wheels.

Silver-finished 18” original RUF wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 285/30 rear Sumitomo HRT Z5 tires, and included with the sale are the original 17” black wheels it came with. Braking has been upgraded to 993 Turbo calipers and pads over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. Along with the wheels and brakes, the suspension was upgraded to Bilstein PSS10 coilovers which ride very smooth and comfortably through LA roads.

The heated power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in black leather with houndstooth cloth inserts and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, and Porsche-branded floor mats.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 175k miles, however, under current ownership, the engine has been rebuilt with a complete valve job, gearbox has been rebuilt, clutch pack has been replaced along with a lightweight flywheel, and the PSS10 coilovers corner balanced.
