Since purchasing the car, the current owner has meticulously serviced every major system, including:

• Fuel System: Replaced fuel lines with stainless steel braided lines to eliminate the risk of fuel leaks, a well-known issue with these cars.

• Brakes: Rebuilt brake calipers, which had previously seized, and flushed the entire braking system for optimal performance.

• Cooling System: Ensured all cooling components were in top shape to prevent overheating issues.

The factory turbine-style aluminum wheels remain in place, measuring 14 inches in the front and 15 inches in the rear, wrapped in period-correct Goodyear tires.

Classic Interior & Features

Inside, the two-seat cockpit retains its original black leather upholstery, a factory three-spoke steering wheel, a period-correct cassette deck, and air conditioning. A set of factory plastic-wrapped floor mats is included with the car.

Instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer currently shows just over 1,500 miles, making this an incredibly low-mileage example.

 

Legendary PRV V6 Engine

Power comes from the 2.85-liter PRV V6, developed by Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo, producing 130 horsepower and 153 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Thanks to the recent servicing, the car now runs and drives exactly as it should, making it one of the best-sorted DeLoreans available.
