1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 350 V8 | 9000 Miles 

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS is a two-door sport coupe that was acquired by the current owner in 2021 and subsequently modified with a replacement drivetrain, an air suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes. Power comes from a 350ci V8 equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor and Performer EPS intake manifold, and the engine is backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Air conditioning was added along with a Boss touchscreen head unit, a side-exit exhaust system, and US Mags 18” and 20” wheels. Finished in black over color-keyed upholstery, the car is further equipped with a radio mast, a center console, and a tachometer. This Impala SS is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a California title.

1964 Chevrolet Impala SS

The car left the factory finished in Tuxedo Black (900) and was repainted under prior ownership. Exterior details include a right-side radio mast, quadruple headlights, dual side mirrors, and bright metal trim on the hood, trunk lid, and sides.

US Mags 18” front and 20” rear alloy wheels are mounted with Federal Super Steel tires. Measuring 235/40 and 255/35, respectively. An air suspension has been installed and features dual pumps and four-way switches. The car is equipped with power steering, and the brakes have been converted to four-wheel discs with drilled and slotted rotors all around. The brake booster and hoses were also replaced under current ownership.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Bright metal trim accents the dash and center console, and an aftermarket air conditioning system has been added along with a Boss touchscreen head unit connected to speakers mounted in the rear parcel shelf.

1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Engine

The two-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and fronts a sweeping 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a fuel level gauge. An AutoMeter coolant temperature gauge is located below the left side of the dash, and Airmaxxx air pressure gauges are mounted under the glove compartment. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, and total mileage is unknown.

The 350ci V8 utilizes an early 1980s GM small block and is equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor and Performer EPS aluminum intake manifold as well as a finned air cleaner lid and valve covers. The dual exhaust system exits to either side via polished finishers. An aluminum radiator has been installed, and the starter is said to have been replaced under current ownership.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The rear axle shafts were reportedly replaced under current ownership. Corrosion is visible on underbody components, which can be viewed in the gallery.
