This Trans Am has undergone extensive mechanical restoration and performance upgrades following its acquisition in 2013. The work was completed in 2014 by Vintage Motor Works, a specialty shop known for vintage American muscle builds. The shop’s owner, now deceased, personally performed the restoration, which was commissioned by the current owner's late father.

This 1972 Trans Am has remained within the same family since 2013, originally purchased by the current owner’s father. After commissioning the restoration, the father passed away, and the title and stewardship of the car were transferred to his son — the current seller and client. The restoration was completed by Vintage Motor Works, though the original shop owner has since passed and the business is now run by his son.

 

Efforts are currently underway to locate build specifications and original invoices for the restoration work. The seller has expressed willingness to provide any documentation available during an in-person meeting. The car is currently titled in the name of the current owner and has seen limited driving since its restoration.
