1967 Chevrolet
Sold — $40,000
The 1967 C10 is the first year of Chevrolet's second-generation C/K trucks, and the Stepside bed is the version people actually want. This one has an LS1 under the hood and Dodger Blue on the outside.
This 1967 Chevrolet C10 Stepside has been restored with a range of modern upgrades while retaining the character that made the C10 a favorite among collectors. It is finished in Dodger Blue and powered by an LS1 V8 swap backed by a Turbo 350 transmission.
Background
The 1967 C10 was a groundbreaking model within Chevrolet's second-generation C/K series, offering more refined styling and greater comfort than its predecessors, with a modern grille, cleaner lines, and an updated interior. The Stepside body style, with its distinctive bed design, added further visual appeal and became a signature shape of mid-century Americana.
Exterior
The truck is finished in a striking Dodger Blue that highlights its clean lines. New chrome bumpers have been fitted, and the truck rolls on American Racing wheels. New wood has been installed in the bed, maintaining the Stepside's vintage character.
Interior
The cabin has been fitted with Auto Meter gauges covering speedometer, tachometer, voltage, and water temperature, with upgraded faceplates for a modernized look. New dash wiring and a new harness have been installed for long-term reliability, along with a new radio, upgraded front seats, and new carpet.
Engine & Drivetrain
The LS1 V8 swap brings modern performance and reliability to the C10 platform. An Edelbrock intake manifold and Holley carburetor provide smooth power delivery and improved throttle response, while a new MST ignition system, spark plugs, and plug wires ensure consistent running. An electric fuel pump and electric cooling fan improve efficiency and cooling, and polished aluminum valve covers finish the engine bay. Power is routed through a Turbo 350 transmission with an upgraded chrome transmission pan, and a dual exhaust system is fitted.
Chassis, Suspension & Brakes
Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes with upgraded slotted and drilled rotors, along with a new vacuum booster. Upgraded upper and lower control arms improve both braking and handling, and the truck sits lower thanks to those arms and a reworked suspension. Front and rear shocks have been replaced for a smoother, more controlled ride.
