1969 BMW
Sold — $42,000
An S14 out of an E30 M3, an Alpina widebody, and a limited-slip differential. This 2002 was built to be driven rather than displayed, and it makes no pretense otherwise.
This 1969 BMW 2002 is a modified example combining vintage character with substantial mechanical upgrades. It is finished in Alpine white with a blue vinyl accent wrap that can be removed if preferred, and wears an Alpina widebody kit. Power comes from an S14 engine sourced from an E30 M3, paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. No rust is present, the title is clean, and the car has no accident history.
Exterior
The standout feature is the Alpina widebody kit, often referred to as pig cheeks, which gives the car a noticeably wider stance. The car sits on 13" Minilite wheels wrapped in near-new Toyo R888R tires. Other exterior modifications include a Koogle Works front lip, a chrome molding delete, and a new rear bumper. The bodywork shows some imperfections typical of a driver-focused car but remains in good overall condition.
Interior
The cabin features black vinyl seats with cloth inserts. The front seats are E21 Recaro buckets, while the rear seats have been upgraded to BMW E24 units reupholstered in classic houndstooth. The dashboard is crack-free and complemented by Alpina-style instrument cluster gauges. Further updates include a suede Personal steering wheel, an Alcantara headliner, and new carpeting and door panels.
Engine & Drivetrain
The S14 was sourced from an E30 M3 with 105,000 miles on the donor motor and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The suspension has been upgraded with BC coilovers at the front and Bilstein shocks at the rear. Volvo front calipers provide increased braking power, and a custom exhaust system is fitted. Further modifications include a battery relocated to the trunk, a strut brace, and an E21 radiator. A new OEM clutch and fresh front and rear glass have been fitted.
Known Issues
The driver's side blinker and the horn are currently non-operational, and minor imperfections are present in the bodywork. Service history will be provided on request.
Note: Additional details including VIN, service records, and further photography will be provided to serious inquiries.
