570 miles. That is the number that defines this car — believed original, accumulated across a life spent almost entirely inside private collections.
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 underwent a comprehensive rotisserie restoration at a reported cost of over $25,000, returning it to showroom condition. Power comes from a 351 cubic-inch V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The car has been collector-owned since new and has reportedly spent its life stored in garages as part of private collections.
Exterior
The fastback body carries classic Mach 1 graphics, a hood scoop, chrome bumpers, and quad headlights. The finish is smooth and glossy, with period-correct detailing throughout. The second owner replaced the wheels as part of his cosmetic and mechanical enhancements.
Interior
The cabin retains the factory-correct Mach 1 configuration with high-back bucket seats, woodgrain trim accents, and a sport steering wheel. Upholstery, carpets, and trim surfaces present in restored condition consistent with the quality of the rotisserie work, and classic instrumentation remains in place.
Engine & Drivetrain
The 351 cubic-inch V8 is paired with an automatic transmission. The second owner, who purchased the car from Barrett-Jackson, performed a number of mechanical upgrades to improve performance and reliability, including 2V cylinder heads, an MSD ignition system and distributor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, and an aluminum radiator. These retain a period-correct appearance under the hood.
History & Documentation
The second owner acquired the car through Barrett-Jackson and invested in its mechanical upgrades before selling it to the current owner in 2021, under whose care it has continued to be preserved as part of a private collection. The odometer shows 570 miles, believed original based on the car's documented history. Documentation includes restoration details, ownership history, and records of upgrades performed under previous ownership.
Note: Additional details including VIN, service records, and further photography will be provided to serious inquiries.
